Mark and Jessica Wenning reside in rural Henry County where they raise corn, soybeans and hay on their farm. They have two children, Noah and Molly. The Wennings enjoy the opportunity to raise their children on a farm.
Mark grew up working on his family’s farm and graduated from Purdue University with a degree in agricultural economics and agricultural systems management. He works full-time as farmer alongside his father. In addition to raising grain, they install drainage tile for their farm and for other farmers. Mark also is involved with 4-H, working as a club leader and on the 4-H Association. He also serves on the church council at his church.
Jessica was raised on a dairy farm in Ohio. She graduated from Ball State University a degree in accounting. Jessica works as a CPA at the accounting firm EY. Jessica helps on the farming operation, as time allows. She also is involved in 4-H as a club leader and serves on the Ball State University Accounting Young Alumni Advisory Council.
Mark and Jessica look forward to sharing their love of agriculture as they serve on the State Young Farmers & Ag Professionals Committee.
The Wennings represent members in Delaware, Hamilton, Hancock, Henry, Madison, Marion, Randolph and Wayne counties.
