"Taste," which runs Tuesday, Aug. 13 through Thursday, Aug. 15, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Building at the Indiana State Fair, is a free event that highlights 10 agricultural commodities from across the state.

Kendell Culp, vice president of Indiana Farm Bureau, is looking forward to representing farmers during his four-year term on the agricultural technical advisory committee for trade in grains, feed, oilseeds, and planting seeds. Culp was one of the 140 private-sector members appointed to one of the six Agricultural Technical Committees for Trade and the Agricultural Policy Advisory Committee for Trade. The committees are managed by both the USDA and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative.
