One of the ways Indiana Farm Bureau is celebrating its 100th anniversary is through a statewide charitable giving campaign, "100 Pound for 100 Years," challenging each county Farm Bureau to collect at least 100 pounds of food for Hoosiers in need. The final results totaled 50 tons (100,000 pounds) of food donated to more than 90 charitable organizations.

Indiana Farm Bureau celebrated the 100th anniversary of its founding at the Statehouse today. INFB President Randy Kron spoke about how members across the state have used their collective voice through the years to protect agriculture's interests. Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch praised Farm Bureau for the advocacy and educational influence it has had on agriculture in the state. She also read a proclamation signed by Governor Eric Holcomb declaring March 25, 2019, Indiana Farm Bureau Day.
