Digital Information

INFB is proud to provide the Indiana Ag Mag in a digital format for ease of use in classrooms! Click on the cover to discover the full magazine. The Indiana Ag Mag is also interactive! As you read through the magazine, use the mouse to hover over pictures and text to discover videos and informational links to enhance your experience while learning about Indiana agriculture.

Academic Standards

The Indiana Ag Mag was written with a focus on third grade Indiana academic standards. Local community values are stressed within the third grade social studies standards of Indiana classrooms. Third grade students explore their own community by learning and identifying growing seasons and specific crops grown in Indiana. These students begin to understand other communities in the state and the world through simple comparative studies. Agriculture provides itself as a common thread for students to link these communities together.
