Indiana Farm Bureau's annual Summer Market Basket survey shows that Hoosiers can expect to pay about the same amount for their cookout favorites as they have the past two years. Unfortunately, as INFB's 2nd vice president Isabella Chism notes, this coincides with the record low food dollar percentage that farmers receive.

As of July 1, 2018, the color purple on posts or trees can officially replace "no trespassing" signs across Indiana. According to INFB's state government relations director, Justin Schneider, purple paint is a more efficient way to mark private property.

Indiana Farm Bureau held its second annual policy outlook conference this week. Among the top priorities for 2019 are increasing broadband access and workforce modernization. Justin Schneider, INFB's state government relations director emphasized that implementing broadband access is an economic development investment in Indiana's small towns and rural areas.
