  • Low grocery prices, high stress for dairy farms

    Indiana Farm Bureau's Spring Market Basket Survey estimates that family meals will cost less than $5 a person this season. The biggest contributing factor was the decrease in milk prices. That good news was couched in a request by Isabella Chism, INFB second vice president, for Hoosiers to buy dairy products to support farmers as they face milk surplus, low price and buyer challenges.
