Faces of Farm Bureau: Introducing Emily Jones, member engagement coordinator

Apr 3, 2023, 10:13 AM by Kathleen M. Dutro, INFB Marketing Team

Emily Jones took on the role of Indiana Farm Bureau’s member engagement coordinator in January, and her goal is to increase member engagement to further the organization’s mission and improve membership value.

In this new role, Jones facilitates programming opportunities that increase engagement and encourage member growth and education. She works with all Farm Bureau teams to enhance involvement of members and target audiences for Farm Bureau programming, and she also will facilitate membership initiatives including acquisition, retention and experience.

Among her specific duties are working directly with the members of the Young Farmers & Ag Professionals State Committee on their annual conference and with the INFB Women’s Leadership Committee on Taste From Indiana Farms, an event hosted by the committee at the Indiana State Fair.

Jones has bachelor’s degrees in both communication and business and a minor in economics from Hanover College.

She grew up in northern Hancock County and still lives in that area. She represents the fourth generation on her family’s Hancock County farm, where they primarily raise Boer goats.

Outside of work, she is active in her community as a volunteer with Hancock County 4-H and is a livestock judge for county fairs. She also is the pole vault coach at Greenfield-Central High School, and she owns an online bakery called Emily’s Sweet Treats. She is engaged to Aaron Young and will be getting married in the fall of 2023.
