Indiana Farm Bureau member delegates met virtually on Saturday, Aug. 29 to determine the policy positions of the organization for 2021. The delegate body consisted of 233 farmers and agribusiness professionals from across the state.

Indiana Farm Bureau will launch a new Agriculture in the Classroom program this fall called “Adopt a Classroom.” This volunteer-driven program allows INFB to continue educating Indiana’s school children about agriculture despite adjustments to school programs due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Registration is now open for Indiana Farm Bureau’s annual Drainage School. To ensure the safety of attendees, this year’s event will be hosted virtually, via the online video conference platform, Zoom. This June, INFB will host three educator workshops across the state. The workshops are for Agriculture in the Classroom volunteers and any interested teachers. Ag in the Classroom is a program led by INFB which helps bring agriculture education into Indiana’s schools.
