Completed L.E.A.D. applications must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. ET on January 20, 2023. Late entries will not be considered.

Application requirements:

  • Applicants must be paid INFB members in good-standing for a minimum of 30 days.
  • Only fully completed applications will be considered. The application must be typed and answers to each question should be submitted in the space provided.
  • INFB will pay for travel, hotel, meals and tips. A $250 deposit from the participant is required for programming materials and additional accommodations.
  • Class attendance is a priority when participating in the L.E.A.D. program.  Please review the dates below to confirm your availability. If you miss a session, you will not be eligible to participate in the trip or graduation celebration at the annual INFB state convention.
    • Session 1: Thursday - Friday, March 10-11, 2023
    • Session 2: Thursday - Friday, April 6-7, 2023
    • Session 3: Thursday - Friday, June 8-9, 2023
    • Session 4: Out-of-state Trip (Location TBD); Sunday - Wednesday, August 27-30, 2023
    • Session 5: Wrap-Up Celebration; Thursday - Friday, December 14-16 (INFB state convention)

Please note: Age is not a factor, however, rigorous schedules require good health. Applicants must be able to travel unescorted at times.

I certify that I understand I will travel at my own risk. I hereby release Indiana Farm Bureau Inc., and all agents, directors, officers, or employees of Indiana Farm Bureau from any liability whatsoever which may arise from my participation in this program. I also pledge to participate as an ambassador speaker to the extent of the above rules, as can be arranged within a period of two (2) years following the completion of the trip.
