Indiana AgriculturalIndiana Agricultural Law FoundationLaw Foundation (INAgLaw) continues to build on interest generated from its annual Estate and Succession Planning for the Family Farm program held each July. INAgLaw will offer a second workshop, “Cultivating Transition,” designed to assist multigenerational families in the farm transition process from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Indiana Farm Bureau headquarters, 225 S. East St. in Indianapolis.
The hands-on workshop will be facilitated by South Dakota attorney Clint Fischer of Braintrust Ag. Fischer specializes in helping farm families navigate the succession process. “Cultivating Transition” will feature sessions designed to generate thought and ideas about creating a transition plan, along with ample time for attendees to meet together, as a family, to further the process. The day-long workshop is designed for families interested in bringing multiple generations to the event.
Only a few spots are available due to the personalization of the workshop. If the workshop is full, those interested can be added to a list for the next offering in 2026. Cost is $100 per family farm. For more information, visit inaglaw.org or contact INAgLAw Director John Shoup at jshoup@infb.org.org.
