Indiana Farm Bureau’s newest regional manager isn’t new to Farm Bureau.
Prior to joining INFB, Andrea Smith served as a field office assistant with Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, where she worked closely with both members and staff.
In her new role, Smith serves as the liaison between the state organization and Farm Bureaus in Cass, Fulton, Jasper, Pulaski and White counties. She assists counties with leadership development, event planning and community outreach activities. Another focus is helping members and county Farm Bureaus to build positive relationships with local, state and national officials.
Smith has a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in agriculture economics with a focus in economic theory and with minors in horticulture and crop science. A Cass County native, she is an active leader in her local 4-H.
She, her daughter and her son live in her hometown of Galveston, Indiana, where she has been a 4-H leader for five years and volunteers at her son’s school.
