Applications for Indiana Farm Bureau’s County Activities of Excellence (CAE) awards are due Aug. 31.
The program recognizes volunteer-led programming at the county level. The awards are divided into four different categories:
The top county in each category receives a cash award of $2,000 to be applied toward improving a program in that county. Additionally, each winning county will be eligible to send two expense-paid members to INFB’s state convention, which in 2025 will be called the Indiana Ag Gathering.
More information, as well as the entry form, can be found at infb.org/resources/volunteers/volunteer-center. Completed CAE applications must be received by email no later than Sunday, Aug. 31. The activity must have been conducted between the dates of Sept. 1, 2024-Aug. 31, 2025. Only entry forms which have been approved by the county Farm Bureau president will be accepted.
The American Farm Bureau Federation also has a County Activities of Excellence program, and the deadline to apply for that is Sept. 2 at 5 p.m. Eastern Time.
Up to 24 innovative county Farm Bureau activities from across the nation will be selected to display at the 2025 AFBF Annual Convention and Trade Show in Anaheim, California, Jan. 9-14, 2026.
Counties should consult their regional manager before applying for the AFBF program. The application link, as well as other information, can be found at infb.org/resources/volunteers/volunteer-center.
