Former members of Indiana Rural Youth/Young Adults are invited to attend a reunion on Saturday, Sept. 21, in Scott Hall at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Franklin, Indiana.
Founded in 1938, the program was active for more than 50 years and encouraged education, recreation and community service.
Registration begins at 1 p.m., the program at 2 p.m., and dinner at 5 p.m. The cost for the dinner is $15 per person, but no reservations are required.
Attendees are requested to place their postcard/placard invitation in their windshield when arriving at the fairgrounds. Attendants will then know to direct you to the parking area for Scott Hall. This is to avoid a parking fee, as RY/YA is sharing the fairgrounds with another group. If you forget your card or did not receive one, make sure you mention Rural Youth.
Those who can’t attend but still want to participate can send in their memories to be shared at the reunion.
