County Farm Bureaus considering new events or activities might not have to start from scratch. Over the years, Indiana Farm Bureau has developed a variety of toolkits to make it easier for county Farm Bureaus to leverage key events and tell the story of Farm Bureau and agriculture.
INFB recently added five new toolkits to its online resources for volunteers. The new toolkits are:
The photo library, which is itself a new resource, consists of a selection of images of crops, livestock and rural Indiana. The toolkit provides guidance on how to use the photo library and how the photos might be most effectively used.
The toolkits based on the CAE winners contain a variety of marketing materials that are customizable for every county Farm Bureau, including a suggested timeline and planning process, promotional tactics used, event setup and budget, as well as templated postcards, emails, pre-event social posts and post-event social posts. Some toolkits include other items as needed such as a templated press release or flyer.
One of Indiana Farm Bureau’s goals for 2024 is to make it easier for county Farm Bureaus to share knowledge with each other, and these toolkits are a direct response to that goal.
Toolkits are available on other topics including Ag Day, INFB’s Book of the Year, rural road safety and county fairs.
To access INFB’s toolkits, look under the “Resources” tab for the “ For Volunteers” link. Once you log in, a link to all the toolkits will be found on the righthand side of your screen.
