Tracy Morgan of Vermillion County was recently elected District 5 education and outreach coordinator.
As the district education and outreach coordinator, she is a member of the INFB Women’s Leadership Committee, representing members in Boone, Fountain, Hendricks, Montgomery, Morgan, Parke, Putnam, Vermillion and Warren counties. She officially took office at the close of INFB’s State Convention in December 2023, replacing Margaret Gladden, who retired.
Morgan served as the county education and outreach coordinator for Vermillion County Farm Bureau from 2017 to 2023, and she sat on the county Farm Bureau’s public relations and scholarship committees. In 2022, Morgan also was part of the INFB’s leadership development program, L.E.A.D. (which stands for leadership, education, action and development).
Morgan and her husband, Brian, raise corn and soybeans in Cayuga, Indiana, with their sons. They have five grandchildren.
In addition, Morgan is a licensed practical nurse and has a cosmetology license. She also is a photographer, particularly for 4-H livestock shows, and she also has served as a photography judge at the county and state level. Her hobbies include camping, travel and photography.
