Grain farmers, livestock producers, specialty crop farmers, agribusiness professionals and others can find something to interest them at the Indiana Farm Bureau 2024 Young Farmers & Ag Professionals Conference.
The conference will be held Friday and Saturday, Feb. 9-10, at the Embassy Suites Event Center in Plainfield, Indiana. For the past several years, the conference has been held at the Embassy Suites in Noblesville, so this is a new location for the event.
In addition to keynote speakers, general sessions and breakouts, the event also will provide opportunities for networking and socializing.
It kicks off in the evening on Friday, Feb. 9, with a welcome reception, dinner and opportunities to mingle.
The keynote speaker Saturday morning, Feb. 10, will be Rob Sharkey, “ The Shark Farmer,” an Illinois grain farmer, whitetail deer hunting outfitter and podcaster who describes himself as a risk taker and out-of-the-box thinker. Sharkey’s topic is “Sharks Don’t Swim Backwards.”
