Indiana companies among top 10

Oct 31, 2023, 09:54 AM by INFB Marketing Team

Two Indiana companies are among the top contenders for the 2024 Farm Bureau Ag Innovation Challenge. Sponsored by the American Farm Bureau Federation in partnership with Farm Credit, the contest recognizes start-up companies focused on advancing agricultural innovation.

The 10 semi-finalist teams are being awarded $10,000 each. Representing Indiana are anu (team lead: Scott Massey), which has pioneered an in-home growing system; and ReproHealth Technologies (team lead: Jim Donahue), which is working to “bring IVF technologies to the farm.”

The semi-finalists will compete at the AFBF convention on Jan. 19 to advance to the final round where the four finalists will receive an additional $5,000 bringing their total to $15,000 each. The final four teams will compete live in front of Farm Bureau members, investors and industry representatives on Jan. 21 for prizes ranging from $5,000 to $50,000.
