Nominations for the Indiana Certified Crop Adviser of the Year are now open. Indiana Farm Bureau is a sponsor of this award, which recognizes an individual for their superior service in assisting farmers in nutrient management, soil and water management, pest management and crop production.
Each nomination requires the submission of a nomination form and three letters of recommendation. One letter must come from the CCA’s employer and two from customers. If the CCA is self-employed, all three letters may be submitted by customers.
The nominator who submits the winning application will receive $250. To be eligible, the nominator must not be the nominee’s employer. The state winner will receive a prize of $1,500 and will be nominated for the International CCA of the Year Award, which comes with an honorarium of $2,000.
Nominations must be received by Wednesday, Nov. 1. Past recipients and current Indiana CCA board members are not eligible. If you have questions, call Mershon Tobin at 217-762-7955.
