Jayden Simpson has joined Indiana Farm Bureau as the public policy intern for the 2023 session of the General Assembly.
In that role, he works closely with the statehouse lobbying team, regional managers and members in expanding INFB’s advocacy efforts.
Simpson is a freshman at Purdue University majoring in agricultural economics with a concentration in policy and pre-law.
A native of Putnam County, he owns and helps operate a small Hereford show cattle operation with his family.
He is the current president of the Indiana Junior Hereford Association and a member of the Purdue Agricultural Council, Purdue Collegiate Cattleman’s Association and Purdue Block and Bridle.
“I enjoy showing cattle, playing golf, and anything and everything to do with Purdue sports,” he said.
