INFB ends a successful membership year

The 2022 membership year officially ended on Oct. 31 with a gain in total membership for Indiana Farm Bureau.

The final number is 267,848 members, which represents a gain of 1,385. Voting membership ended at 67,984 members, which was a decline of 606 members from the previous year.

This is the seventh year in a row that INFB has recorded a membership gain.

"We appreciate all of the work that went into helping Farm Bureau grow membership this year," said Chelsea Poe, executive director of education and engagement. "It proved to be another difficult year, but this growth is the result of dedication and effort put forth by our staff, volunteers, insurance company personnel and agents in every county. Thank you for helping make this another successful membership year."

          Below are a few highlights:

  • At 92.03%, this was INFB's seventh highest renewal percentage in 27 years.
  • 22,628 new members joined INFB during this past year.
  • 24 counties had a gain in voting members.
  • 65 counties had a gain in total members.
