This year’s Indiana Farm Management Tour sponsored by the Purdue Department of Agricultural Economics will feature three farms in southwestern Indiana, including that of Randy and Joyce Kron, Vanderburgh County.
The other two farms on the tour also are owned by INFB members: Koester Brothers Dairy and Seib Farms, both in Posey County.
Purdue University has organized the tour every year since the early 1930s – or nearly every year. Last year’s tour was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Host farmers share keys to successful farm management and explain how the management of their operations is changing in response to the ever-changing agricultural economy and the evolving circumstances of their families.
More about the tour can be found on the event’s website.
