A virtual leadership development event for county leaders will be offered by the American Farm Bureau Federation April 19-23.
This is the fourth year AFBF has organized such an event, which is called County Leader Week. Held in conjunction with National Volunteer Week, it’s an opportunity for county leaders to invest in their own development and for Farm Bureau to celebrate county leaders’ commitment to volunteerism.
Members at all levels of the organization, as well as staff, are encouraged to participate, said Jordan Henry, director of leadership and organizational training at AFBF.
Those who are interested should register at AFBF’s online learning site, Farm Bureau University ( university.fb.org/login.aspx), and sign up for “Board Essentials.” Updates also are available on AFBF’s Facebook page.
“These resources will support volunteer leaders at every level,” Henry said. Questions can be directed to Henry at jordanh@fb.org.
