Jordan Slipher has joined Indiana Farm Bureau as the new regional manager for Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Tippecanoe and White counties.
In this role, Slipher assists county Farm Bureaus in leadership development, event planning and community outreach activities.
“Growing up in a farming community, it was my goal to get involved and support the agriculture community once again,” said Slipher. “The regional manager position will allow me to return to the fields and begin interacting with members. I want to hear their stories, struggles and future goals as farmers and INFB members.”
If his last name sounds familiar, that’s because he’s the son of Greg Slipher, INFB’s livestock development specialist.
Before coming to Farm Bureau, Slipher spent 11 years as a technical support specialist for Engineering Innovation Inc., a company that specializes in pre-sort mailing applications.
A native of Rossville, Indiana, Slipher earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and tourism management from Purdue University. He also has been involved with 4-H for more than 10 years, is a member of FFA and a volunteer for the Indiana Pork Producers.
“I’m excited to get started helping our members succeed in any way that I can,” Slipher concluded.
