Indiana Farm Bureau has announced the recipients of its Ag Education and Promotion Grant and the winner of its 2020 Enrichment Scholarship.
The Ag Education and Promotion Grant is awarded twice per year and is geared toward county Farm Bureaus or Farm Bureau members and educators to enhance local agricultural literacy efforts or encourage members to attend a conference/event that would enhance the promotion of agriculture and education. The winners for the first grant cycle are:
Each grant totals up to $250. Applications for the second grant cycle are currently under review.
The INFB Enrichment Scholarship is awarded to an adult (21 years or older) to provide assistance in the advancement of their career. The 2020 winner is Amy Redman of Williams, Indiana, in Lawrence County. Redman is the family and consumer science and agriculture teacher at Mitchell High School in Mitchell, Indiana, and she is pursuing a master’s degree in career and technical education.
