Faces of Farm Bureau: Introducing Kyle Mathena, regional manager

May 29, 2024, 10:03 AM by Kathleen M. Dutro, INFB Marketing Team

Kyle Mathena joined Indiana Farm Bureau in March as regional manager in District 10, serving Dearborn, Jefferson, Jennings, Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland counties.

As a regional manager, Mathena serves as the liaison between county Farm Bureaus and the state organization and assists the counties with leadership development, event planning and community outreach activities. He also assists members and county Farm Bureaus in building positive relationships with local, state and national officials.

Mathena comes to INFB from Farm Credit where for several years he sold crop insurance. He has a bachelor’s degree in agriculture sales and marketing from Purdue University.

Mathena grew up on a family farm in Whiteland, Indiana. His father and cousin currently run the operation, but Mathena helps when time allows.

He and his wife, Katy, met at Purdue. Their son, Kipp, is just over a year old. Aside from helping on the family farm, their other interests include Purdue sports, spending time with family and hanging out on the lake. They now live in Seymour, Indiana.
