AgELECT: 19 candidates endorsed by INFB’s PAC win primaries

Following the May 7 primary election, 19 candidates out the of 21 who were endorsed by Indiana Farm Bureau won their races.

AgELECT is the organization’s state-level, nonpartisan political action committee.

Below is a list of INFB AgELECT-endorsed candidates who won their primary:

  • Brian Buchanan (R), Senate District 7.
  • Brett Clark (R), Senate District 24.
  • Rodric Bray (R), Senate District 37.
  • Hunter Smith (R), House District 24.
  • Jeff Thompson (R), House District 28.
  • Victoria Garcia Wilburn (D), House District 32.
  • John (J.D.) Prescott (R), House District 33.
  • Danny Lopez (R), House District 39.
  • Greg Steuerwald (R), House District 40.
  • Mark Genda (R), House District 41.
  • Beau Baird (R), House District 44.
  • Tony Isa (R), House District 51.
  • Ben Smaltz (R), House District 52.
  • Shane Lindauer (R), House District 63.
  • Zach Payne (R), House District 66.
  • Alex Zimmerman (R), House District 67.
  • Rita A. Fleming (D), House District 71.

With the primary election complete, focus now turns to getting candidates who support agriculture and the future of Indiana’s rural communities elected in the general election on Nov. 5.
