Faces of Farm Bureau: Introducing Kathleen Allbaugh, District 4 education and outreach coordinator

Apr 25, 2024, 11:29 AM by Kathleen M. Dutro, INFB Marketing Team

Indiana Farm Bureau’s newest district education and outreach coordinator is Kathleen Allbaugh of Miami County.

Allbaugh was elected District 4 education and outreach coordinator in early 2024 to fill the position that became vacant when the former DEOC, Janis Highley, was elected INFB 2nd vice president.

As the DEOC for District 4, she represents members in Adams, Blackford, Grant, Howard, Huntington, Jay, Miami, Tipton, Wabash and Wells counties on the INFB Women’s Leadership Committee.

Allbaugh has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Purdue University and is a licensed esthetician. She and her family operate Trimble Farms LLC, a row crop farming operation in Amboy, Indiana.

She is married to her high school sweetheart, Hunter, and the couple lives in Converse, Indiana, with their daughter Mae, born in December 2023. They are active in Converse Church of Christ, where Allbaugh volunteers with the C3 Samaritan Room Christmas Outreach. She also sits on the ag advisory board for the Oak Hill FFA Chapter.

Her hobbies include spending time outside with their dogs, Chief and Dolly, hiking local trails and spending time with hers and Hunter’s families. In her free time, Allbaugh likes to paint, draw, cook and bake.
