Members are encouraged to subscribe to The Hoosier Farmer digitally

Nov 29, 2022, 10:11 AM by INFB Marketing Team

Did you know The Hoosier Farmer is now available in a digital format?

To receive the publication in your in-box every month, all you have to do is scan the QR code or go to www.infb.org/my-account/my-profile, log in to the website, and update your Online Member Profile (OMP) to indicate that you’d prefer to receive The Hoosier Farmer digitally.

“For more than 100 years, Indiana Farm Bureau has been producing The Hoosier Farmer, and that won’t change,” said Debra DeCourcy, INFB executive director of marketing. “But with the shortage of paper that started last year and increased postage and labor costs, we’ve seen the cost of producing a print publication increase drastically, particularly this year. We expect that trend will continue in 2023.

“Moving more of our members to a digital publication will help Farm Bureau save money and allow us to use our resources wisely,” she added.

Readers who elect to receive The Hoosier Farmer digitally will get the same content as is in the printed copy, but the digital version offers some advantages, including delivery that isn’t dependent on the post office. A digital edition also offers live links that make it easier to access information online.

While logged in to your OMP, you also can:

  • Let INFB know more about your involvement in agriculture.
  • Indicate the INFB programs you're interested in.
  • Tell INFB how you’d like to receive other INFB publications and communications.
