Faces of Farm Bureau: Introducing regional manager Julie Golliher

Mar 31, 2022, 09:27 AM by Kathleen M. Dutro, INFB Marketing Team

Julie Golliher may be new to the position of regional manager, but she is a familiar face to the members in her district.

Until resigning to take up her new job, Golliher was the district and education outreach coordinator for District 6.

In her new role, Golliher works with Farm Bureaus in Decatur, Fayette, Franklin, Rush, Shelby and Union counties, serves as the liaison between county Farm Bureaus and the state organization and assists the counties with leadership development, event planning and community outreach activities.

Prior to joining INFB, she worked as an in-home physical therapist for Henry Community Hospital and has more than 20 years’ experience in that field.

Other experience includes serving on the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce Agribusiness Committee. For two years, she worked for the Indiana State Department of Agriculture as a contract employee for Indiana Grown focusing on specialty crops. She remains active in her local 4-H program.

A native of Lynn, Indiana, Golliher lives near Cambridge City with her husband, Brian. She and Brian grow 400 acres of corn, soybeans, hay and cover crops. They also raise beef cattle and hogs that are organically processed and sold directly to consumers from their farm and at farmers markets.

They have four children and one grandson, and a new granddaughter is due in August.
