INFB Vice President Isabella Chism received the Purdue Extension Women in Agriculture Achievement Award at a special ceremony held Aug. 5 at the Indiana State Fair. The award recognizes women who are directly involved in a home farm operation.
Chism and her husband, Kent, raise corn, high oleic soybeans and sweet corn. She was elected INFB 2nd vice president in 2006, chairs the State Women’s Leadership Committee and serves on the INFB board of directors. In addition, she chairs the American Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee.
