(Indianapolis) – February 8, 2021 – Indiana Farm Bureau today announced that more than 800 Hoosiers have signed up for INFB Health Plans during the first month coverage was available.

From January 1-31, INFB Health Plans signed 860 plan holders, which is on par with the organization’s expectation for its first month. The breakdown of coverage for those plan holders includes:

  • 716 traditional health plans, which includes both individual and family plans;
  • 21 Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans; and
  • 123 dental and vision plans.

“We are extremely pleased by the response of INFB Health Plans,” said Patrick Williams, INFB Health Plans manager. “The response shows there is a true need for this type of product as an option for health care benefits in Indiana.”

Williams believes the significant savings, coupled with offerings that can be tailored to different needs, are major factors for why members are embracing the plans. “We certainly are optimistic that this momentum will continue as we move forward,” he added.
