Candidates endorsed by ELECT and AgELECT successful in general election

Dec 3, 2020, 10:03 AM by Brady Hagerty, INFB Marketing Team

As another election season ends, Indiana Farm Bureau’s political action committees – ELECT and AgELECT – saw success with the more than 90 candidates the PACs endorsed.

In fact, 87 of the 93 candidates the PACs endorsed for the 2020 general election were elected into office.

“Indiana Farm Bureau is proud to see the vast majority of candidates the PACs endorsed were successful in their races,” said Randy Kron, INFB president. “Supporting candidates, and then working and engaging with them as elected officials, is critical to the success of Indiana agriculture. We also look forward to building relationships and serving as a resource for those candidates who the PACs didn’t endorse as it relates to public policy impacting the agriculture industry and rural communities.”

Visit www.infb.org/2020endorsements for the full list of endorsed candidates who were elected into office.

“A sincere thank you to the county Farm Bureaus and members who participated in the endorsement process. INFB’s grassroots success depends on their involvement in the political process,” Kron added.

More information about INFB’s PACs, including how to donate to ensure ag-friendly candidates are supported in future elections, can be found by visiting www.infb.org/public-policy/political-action-committees.
