Weekly conference calls offer updates to members

Jul 2, 2020, 14:21 PM by Brady Hagerty, INFB Marketing Team

In an effort to keep Indiana Farm Bureau members informed about the COVID-19 situation and its impact on agriculture, INFB President Randy Kron has been hosting weekly conference calls since early April.

The calls are an opportunity for Kron, INFB staff and guest speakers to provide the latest information and answer questions concerning COVID-19 and current dynamics in the agricultural economy. Recent guest speakers have included Josh Trenary of Indiana Pork, Indiana State Veterinarian Bret Marsh, USDA Deputy Secretary Stephen Censky, AFBF Executive Vice President Dale Moore and AFBF Chief Economist John Newton.

The COVID-19 conference calls take place every Tuesday at noon and will continue to for the foreseeable future.

To listen in, call 1-646-558-8656 and use the access code 897563269.

Topics and guest speakers for the weekly conference calls can be found in the Dispatch newsletters, which are sent every Friday, and public policy team emails.

A recording of each call is posted on INFB’s website in the “For Volunteers” section. You'll need to log into your INFB account to access the recordings.

Questions about the conference calls should be directed to Katrina Hall at khall@infb.org.
