Grace Hasler of Bartholomew County is the winner of the American Farm Bureau Young Farmer & Ranchers Collegiate Discussion Meet.
This is the first time an Indiana contestant has won the collegiate contest.
Hasler, who is studying ag communications and ag economics at Purdue, qualified for the national contest by winning the INFB contest in late 2019.
The AFBF competition is typically held at the Young Farmer & Rancher Conference, but the conference was canceled due to COVID-19. Hasler, alongside collegiate Farm Bureau members from across the country, competed in three rounds in front of a virtual panel of judges.
