Faces of Farm Bureau: Introducing Cheyenne Dunn, county marketing coordinator

Nov 4, 2019, 09:54 AM by Kathleen M. Dutro, Marketing Team

County Farm Bureaus have a new resource on Indiana Farm Bureau’s staff: Cheyenne Dunn, who started as INFB’s county marketing coordinator.

Cheyenne Dunn Faces of Farm Bureau

In her new position, Dunn serves as a primary contact between county Farm Bureaus and the state office.

“I work with the counties to help them with any marketing needs they may have,” she said. “If they have an upcoming event, I can design the invitations, agenda, flyer, email and other materials and have them sent out. I can also help them with anything they need to order, such as a yard sign customized with their logo.”

Dunn also is responsible for creating and updating “toolkits” – packages of promotional materials – for campaigns and events such as Ag Day, rural road safety awareness and county fairs. All of the available toolkits can be found by visiting the section INFB's website for volunteers, logging on to the site and clicking on “County Marketing Toolkits and Webinars.” The items offered in the toolkits also can be customized with a county logo, she added.

Dunn graduated in May from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communication. While in school, she served as editorial intern with Successful Farming, newsroom intern with National FFA and communications intern with the Department of Agricultural Sciences Education and Communication at Purdue.

A native of Greensburg, Indiana, her hobbies include baking, knitting, sewing, photography and gardening – all legacies of her involvement in 4-H.

Dunn can be reached at 317-692-7880, cdunn@infb.org.

“I want the counties to feel free to contact me with anything they need. I’m excited to get to know our county leaders and assist them in any way I can,” she added. “I love being helpful and that’s such a large part of my job. It is very rewarding to be a resource for the counties and help make their jobs a little bit easier.”
