Convention attendees who need to arrange for childcare during the convention should be aware of some important changes from previous years, said Chris Fenner, Indiana Farm Bureau’s operations and event manager.
As has been the case for many years, childcare will be available during convention, to be held Dec. 12-14 in French Lick, Indiana. But unlike previous years, the service will be provided directly by the hotel rather than through a babysitting service hired by INFB, Fenner said.
In practical terms, what this means is that families who need to arrange childcare must book it directly through the French Lick Springs Hotel, Fenner said, by calling 888-936-9360.
It will be available to anyone attending the convention, even those staying in a different hotel, he added.
“This won’t be a walk-in service,” he noted. “You’ll need to call ahead of time.”
