The American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture has recognized four winning teams in the spring Purple Plow Challenge, Protect the Pollinators.
Among the winners is North Decatur High School in Greensburg, Indiana, for its butterfly garden. Each team received a 3-D printer and a $100 gift card.
Purple Plow is a free STEM education platform for middle and high schools. For the Protect the Pollinators contest, students researched, designed, tested and demonstrated a solution that sustained or improved pollinator well-being.
