Faces of Farm Bureau: Trevor Craig, regional manager

Jul 1, 2019, 00:00 AM by Tyler Mayer, Marketing Team
Faces of FB-CraigTrevor-2019

Trevor Craig is the new regional manager in INFB Districts 7 and 9. He will be supporting Crawford, Lawrence, Martin, Monroe, Orange and Perry counties.

Craig grew up in Bedford, Indiana, and currently resides in Lawrence County. He and his family have a 40-head registered cow herd that includes Angus, Hereford and Simmental cattle. They use AI breeding and embryo transfer and sell their breeding stock privately and at public auctions. His cattle have been shown in county and state fairs, the North American International Livestock Expo and the National Western Stock Show.

A Lawrence County 4-H leader for 28 years, Craig also has served as both president and vice president of the Lawrence County Cattlemen’s Association, breed manager for the Hoosier Beef Congress and breed manager for the Indiana State Fair. He has a degree in business management and supervision from Ivy Tech Community College. Before coming to Farm Bureau, Craig worked for Premier Companies in outside sales for petroleum and oil.

Craig has been married to his wife, Melinda, for 20 years and they have two sons, Ty, 18, and Trey, 14. Outside of work, Craig enjoys playing guitar and bass, raising miniature American Shepherds, raising and showing cattle and watching his sons play football and basketball.

“Since I was young, I have been involved with 4-H and agriculture,” Craig said. “I hope my past experience will help me better serve our members.”
