County Fair Resources: INFB resource kits help county Farm Bureaus promote fair activities

May 1, 2019, 08:00 AM by Tyler Mayer, Marketing Team
County fair toolkit-PorterCo

A toolkit to help county Farm Bureaus promote activities at their county fairs is available in the Volunteers section of the INFB.org website.

County fairs can be excellent opportunities to inform the public on what your county Farm Bureau is doing for farmers and for members across the state. That’s why it’s important for each county to have a strong presence, and the toolkit provides resources to help make that possible.

Included in the toolkit are ag fact yard signs, suggested social media posts, welcome banners, print ads and more.

  • The ag fact yard signs are available in two different sets. The first set has 14 unique signs and can be ordered for $98, while the second set has 12 unique signs and is available for $84. Both sets can be purchased at a discount for $156.
  • Suggested social media posts are available to use on your Facebook page, which may help you draw a bigger crowd to your booth or event.
  • Welcome banners are available in two sizes: 3 feet by 5 feet for $75 and 3 feet by 8 feet for $96. These banners may be customized with your county’s logo.
  • If you want to buy an ad from a local newspaper, INFB has print ads available for use. When requesting an ad, be sure to include ad dimensions, where it will be running and any other relevant details.

The county fair toolkit is located on the County Marketing Toolkits and Webinars page of the Volunteer Center. You will need to log in to your membership account (or register your account if you haven't yet) to access the materials. As a reminder, all requests should be made at least four weeks in advance. This allows time for design, ordering, processing and shipping.

For more information on these resources and how to use them, there are pre-recorded webinars available on the website. Should you have questions, reach out to Tyler Mayer.
