Toolkit to help counties plan, promote county fair activities

Mar 26, 2018, 10:32 AM by Kathleen M. Dutro, Marketing Team

To help Farm Bureau leaders plan and promote their county Farm Bureau’s presence at the county fair, the INFB marketing team has compiled a toolkit of templates and other materials that will be posted on the INFB website in early April.

Join the team at noon on Thursday, April 5, for webinar training on the toolkit.

County Fair Toolkit_Ferris Wheel Barn Farm Animals“We’ll discuss the contents of the toolkit – which includes templates of PR materials, social media posts, links to order signage and much more – and we’ll also talk about how each piece can be used in planning and promoting your county fair activities,” said Mallory Meyer, INFB county marketing coordinator.

If you’re interested in joining “County Farm Bureau Webinar #2: County Fair Toolkit,” email Meyer, who will then send the information you’ll need to log in to the webinar. Meyer sends out information about her toolkits via email to a list of county FB presidents, CEOCs, PR coordinators and others. If you are not receiving these emails but would like to be added to the list, contact Meyer.

To find the toolkit, go to the"Resources" menu after April 5, and click on "For Volunteers," where members will then be directed to login to their online membership account – or register their account if they haven’t already done so.  The toolkit will be on the PR Coordinators page under "Links."
