The Michigan Department of Agriculture is seeking public
input on specialty crop grants over the next month.
Comments will be accepted until December 27 to help ensure
the grant projects align with program priorities.
Nearly $2 million in grants were awarded in 2018 focused on
market enhancement, research, training and education.
The Specialty Crop Block Grant Program uses federal funding
to enhance the competitiveness of the state’s specialty crops.
