Weather woes continue to slow harvest progress. According to the latest report from the USDA,
cotton harvest is 95 percent complete, soybean harvest is 93 percent complete,
and 75 percent of the peanut crop has been harvested.
Winter wheat is 90 percent planted with 42 percent of the
crop rated good to excellent.
Livestock producers continue to feed hay and producers are
already started to inquire about purchasing hay to make it through the winter
months.
