One of the largest biofuel suppliers in the country blames
small refinery waivers for the recent closing of three of its plants.
World Energy says with the latest EPA exemptions granted

employees at facilities in Georgia, Mississippi and Pennsylvania.
The company says it will maintain essential staffing at all
three locations to stay in what it calls a “warm shutdown mode” pending
improved market conditions.
