Direct cash cattle trade is off to a slow start this morning. Just one bid has been restated, that’s in Kansas at $105 live. Asking prices are at $107 live in the South and $175+ dressed in the North. We saw a light to moderate trade develop in the South yesterday at $105, that’s $5 lower than last week’s weighted average for that area. Look for the rest of this week’s business to develop over today and tomorrow.
