The USDA says wheat export inspections as of the week ending August 8th continue to outpace the previous marketing year, but late in their marketing year, corn, sorghum, and soybean inspections lag. The 2019/20 marketing year for wheat got underway June 1st and starts September 1st for beans, corn, and sorghum.
Wheat inspections came out at 688,978 tons, up 272,801 from the week ending August 1st and 201,579 higher than the week ending August 9th, 2018.
