With about a month left in the 2018/19 marketing year for corn, sorghum, and soybeans, the USDA says export inspections continue to trail the respective 2017/18 paces. All three have suffered from some combination of increased export competition and trade issues. As of the week ending August 1st, wheat inspections are ahead of the last marketing year. 2019/20 got underway June 1st for wheat and 2018/19 continues through the end of August for beans, corn, and sorghum.
