Missouri’s corn
and soybean conditions improved slightly last week, but progress remains behind
last year.
The USDA says
there were almost six days suitable for fieldwork with less than an inch of
rain on average across the state.
As of
Sunday, corn silking made progress to 87 percent while condition remained at 34
percent good to excellent.
Soybean
blooming is well behind last year at 50 percent, but condition progressed to 47
percent good to excellent.
