The European Commission has given grain import approval to Sygnenta’s Agrisure Duracade corn rootworm trait.
European approval means virtually all major markets have now approved Duracade for import, including China, Japan and Mexico.
Hybrids containing the Duracade trait have been sold and planted in the U.S. since 2014 but have been subject to strict grain marketing requirements.
Agrisure Duracade hybrids are sold as stacked traits. All of the individual components of those stacks are now approved.
