Soybeans were higher on short covering and technical buying. Contracts were due for a bounce after the recent losses and the trade is watching late planting weather, with mixed progress likely. The trade has some uncertainty about acreage, but not to the same degree corn does. With the historically slow pace of planting there are concerns about an early frost.
