Soybeans were lower on profit taking and technical selling. The trade is encouraged by the weekend progress with China, but tariffs remain in place, both Beijing’s on U.S. beans and the U.S. duties on Chinese goods, and African Swine Fever impact might be understated, affecting demand even further. China has pledged to buy more U.S. ag goods and the U.S. has also made concessions. Stateside, there are at least some expectations for an increase in U.S.
